But otherwise, everything is OK. Came straight home from school, no gym time there today, because Vanessa had a late meeting and my mom had something going on in the afternoon with Krissy and couldn't take the kids. So I got to spend the afternoon with them. It was pretty dope. They were good and let me work on my Senior Seminar paper and then we got to hang out before dinner. And I got to goof off while they played. It was a fun, vaguely full afternoon. It was really nice.
My mom made dinner, which was spaghetti bake, and Lilly made a giant mess out of herself. She looked like this:

After hosing the kids off (seriously, I considered changing the bath water after scrubbing Lilly down), I read them "If You Give a Pig a Party" and put them in bed. Then I hit the treadmill for 45, messing with the incline and doing some hand weights while watching the first season of 30 Rock. With the cold, I really didn't want to, but I did it.
Weighed in at 278, which is a pound up. I'm not gonna freak, because I figure that it is probably muscle. In fact, I know it is because my tight pants are feeling less tight in the waist. Progress! But dropping a pound or two for next week would be nice.
Breakfast:
2 servings of Cheerios Crunch
2 pieces of 100% Whole Wheat toast with butter and Raspberry Jelly
1 cup of hot tea
Lunch:
Leftover House of Hunan 3 Cup Chicken
1 freezer Egg Roll with Spicy Thai sauce
Dinner:
Spaghetti bake with a piece of veal and WAAAAY too much cheese
Salad with carrots and Italian dressing
Snack:
a pear
LOTS of hot tea today. Hopefully it was caffeine free so that I can sleep tonight. Of course, there will probably be NyQuil in my very near future.
See you tomorrow.
