Today felt like a really long day. Not a bad day. Just long.
I don't have any anecdotes or heartwarming tales to tell today. Sorry.
I did 45 minutes on the treadmill, but I noticed about half way in that it was significantly harder than it was yesterday. Mostly because I had it on 3.5 instead of 3.0 for the speed. Which explains it. It also wiped me out and I only did 15 on the bike and 20 on the elliptical. Which is still an hour and 20 minutes, which is none too shabby.
I'm thinking about throwing in some weight machines or something. I don't know, though. It's on the burner, for sure.
My lunch felt huge today, mostly because there was a lot in it. But it was good stuff for the most part, so Vanessa said it was OK.
Breakfast:
2 servings of Cheerios Crunch
2 pieces of Protein Plus toast with peanut butter and bananas
2 glasses of water
Lunch:
1 Ham and Turkey wrap with lettuce, mustard and cheese
a bunch of baby carrots
2 Clausen Pickle Spears
Half of a pear
Strawberry Dannon Yogurt
1 serving of Cool Ranch Doritos
(that is a very hefty lunch)
Dinner:
Chipotle Burrito bowl with no rice. Beans, chicken, tomato, corn and green salsa, light cheese and lettuce. And it was delicious. Killing the sour cream, rice and tortilla kills a lot of the filler, but you still get all of the killer. Adding those three things brings you to over 1000 calories. Intense.
I don't know if you noticed this, but I love Chipotle. I will make excuses to eat it. Obviously. But at only 525 calories and 52g of protein, it's totally worth it.

If you want to increase your speed I have found it helpful to alternate between the two settings about every 5 minutes. It gives my heart and a lungs a bit of a reprieve but I am still working on moving up so to speak. Sounds like you are well on your way!! Keep up the good work.
