Day 19.

I totally caved today.

I was making Mac N Cheese for Matt's birthday dinner tomorrow (also having hot dogs, hamburgers and baked beans--he's 2) and I was grabbing something out of the fridge when I see a red container. Inside that red container is leftover Coconut Icing. And I helped myself to some. Three deliciously evil spoonfuls.

It was so bad that it was gooooooooooooooooooooood. Like, WOW, good.

And we're having cake tomorrow because we're having a party. I know, I know--it's OK to have treats. I'm doing well otherwise, right? Right. No freaking out.

It was seriously awesome, though. Back in the day, I totally used to eat half a jar of frosting without thinking twice. I was a fat kid's fat kid. I could teach you things about being fat and how to maintain that fatness. (No Reese's Cups? Just put peanut butter in a bowl with some chocolate chips. Just as good. Maybe better because there isn't all of that work to get the wrapper off.)

That is the past though, right? Right.

65 minutes on the hell machine was all I managed today. We had a lot to do for the party so I needed to get home kind of quickly. I also forgot a pair of socks to change into, which really grossed me out. But I survived.

Breakfast:
3 egg whites + 1 yolk with hot sauce
2 pieces of turkey bacon
1 piece of Oatmeal Bread toast with butter
1/2 a banana

Lunch:
Some Vegan Oat health bar thing that was surprisingly good--like a REALLY heavy, thick oatmeal cake.
A handful of Habanero BBQ Almonds

Dinner:
Chipotle Burrito bowl, beans, chicken, tomato, green and corn salsa with lettuce and cheese. No rice.
A couple spoonfuls of Mac N Cheese (to make sure it tasted OK)

Had some more almonds while watching Lost. And a metric crapton of water.

Probably going to try and go to the Tallmadge Rec early-ish tomorrow morning so I can get a good workout before the party.

See you tomorrow.

  1. I'm really excited that we're having hot dogs b/c since Jeremy doesn't like them, I never get to eat them.

Thank you for the future hot dogs.

  2. Hot dogs are so good. Sometimes I come home from work at 1am and that is all I want before I got to bed :)
