Lunch:
Taco salad with lettuce, tomato, cheese, ground beef and taco sauce. Ground beef probably wasn't very good for me, but it wasn't very much.
Dinner:
Giant salad with lettuce, tomato, cheese and Italian dressing.
Leftover whole wheat spaghetti with sausage.
Later I had a Boston Cream Pie Yoplait yogurt and a small bowl of Cool Ranch Doritos. Not at the same time. And seriously, it was pretty close to the exact serving size of 12 chips.
Sue me.
This cutting calories thing is hard. I'm really hungry. It probably doesn't help that it's almost midnight. I don't know. I'm going to sleep and I'll be drinking a giant glass of fiber water, so I can worry about hunger in the morning.
Maybe working out too... we'll see.

I've been rocking the health kick too. If you use ground turkey with a little ground beef and the taco seasoning it tastes pretty much the same. Ground veal mixed with ground turkey makes a good burger too. That on a wheat roll some low fat cheese and a bunch of tomato and spinach it amazing. I'm not sure how you eat your salads but use spinach because it is great for you and it doesnt get as boring. Everyday I eat Spinach, Turkey/chicken, a purple fruit (ala blueberries) whole grains, green tea, fresh lemon (in water or on salad), and carrots. I have lost 10 lbs in 3 weeks.
ReplyDeleteTry trading out salmon for the ground beef, better for you and will give you an energy boost. Plus the protein in it is much healthier than what ground beef could give you. Though having ground beef every now and then when you are changing the way you eat isn't a bad thing, it's all about moderation.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of cutting calories the site: fitday.com is actually pretty good (I use it now and have in the past) and it is free. It keeps track of your weight, inches, nutrition with percentages, etc. It really puts things into perspective to see it all graphed out like that.
