Day 4

I did not work out this morning. I decided to save it for when I "hit the wall" or whatever the hell it is. Or a morning when sleep doesn't feel totally awesome. Because sleep felt totally awesome this morning.

I love all the comments. Thank you all. Knowing that there are people reading makes me feel good. Not just because I grew up fat and crave attention, but also because that is the purpose of this blog: having readers makes me feel accountable. With people reading and supporting me, if I fuck up and fail, I'm letting a bunch of other people down too. Private and solitary let down is easy to deal with. On a larger scale, not as much.

So please, help keep me accountable. Leave messages. Ask questions. Tell your friends and direct them here. Tell me your story. Give me anything so that I'm not just listing what I ate and how I worked out.

Breakfast:
2 servings of Rice Krispies with milk and sugar free vanilla creamer.
2 pieces of Protein Plus toast and butter.
Hot tea.

Also, last night my blood sugar was 136 which is the lowest it has been in at least 6 months. Prior, my 3 month average was in the 200's.

  1. My husband and I make smoothies for breakfast with frozen berries, vanilla yogurt, protein powder, milk, and splenda. It is really fast and easy and tastes great. We mix up the fruit sometimes but the berries are our favorite. It also make for a really great desert without a lot of guilt.
